Decimals are special fractions. They are always in multiples
of ten, eg. tenths, hundredths, thousandths.
If a decimal fraction is written as a vulgar fraction, the denominator
is always 10 or a power of 10, eg. 10, 1000.
In decimal fractions that have more than four decimal places, a space
marker is used after every third digit to the right of the decimal point,
eg. 0.000 462.
The decimal point is a punctuation mark that shows the units are to the
left of it.
